song: Opening for a Princess? I dunno.

Meme ganked from [info]birdzilla:

Name seven of your characters/muses.
1) Tyroshaun Kaleaster
2) Cinaed Kaleaster
3) Neran
4) Kaden
5) Aderais Myreneith
6) Breniaren Eviarence
7) Robin Thorne

What do you do with them?
Roleplaying and writing, and in one case, PPC'ing.

Do you feel close to them?
They're... well. Some of 'em are my babies (i.e., the Kaleasters), and I love cuddling Tyroshaun especially. He's a teddy bear.  But... they're also tools in many ways, y'know? There are things I want to say and worlds I want to show; they're a method of doing that. Doesn't make me cuddle 'em any less.

Do you believe they're real?
...In all seriousness and all joking aside? No.  But I always pretend that I do. It makes things less lonely.  But when you know they'd hug you and you're not getting a hug, it hits pretty hard that they're, y'know, in your head.

Are any of them dating each other?
No.  Good thing I left Kaimana off that list...

Have any of them ever been killed?
Tyroshaun.

Have you drawn them?
Tyroshaun.  And Robin, in that she looks like me.

~

About number one:
Tyroshaun is my oldest consistent RP character.  Also my oldest original fic character.  I technically had K'nin before, but... I left him by the wayside for three years. I didn't leave Tyroshaun.  He's... yeah.  He's also essentially intended to die.  He should be a 'Stu (and the possibility always scares me) with his looks and his magic and sword skills. But he's also... y'know.  Painfully shy.  A captain in the army.

What do they do for a living?
Teaches for his father for a while, then gets drafted into the army.

What do they dress like?
He tends to dress... uh, simply enough I guess, when working for his dad.  Loose peasant shirt (good quality, though), sometimes a doublet.  Breeches.  In the army, he's got a uniform.  He always has pockets so he can keep some magical tools on him (Uh, prisms, bits of metal, iron... oh, physics mage).

Who is their best friend?
Neran, definitely.  It'd be hard to elaborate.

How would they respond to abuse?
Fighting back furiously--and I mean in a rage--until tired, and if he hadn't fought free by then, or been unable to fight (like being bound and no way of getting out of it), he'd save his energy and just... refuse to show any signs of weakening of his resolve.  He's a stubborn one..

Do they have any nicknames?
No.  He hates them.

Are they seeing anyone? Married?
He was seeing a woman, who was apparently a foreigner (Tifami), but... ah, he didn't really... stay with her.  Exactly.  Mind, I'm answering all this from the point of view of Apocalypse!verse.  If you wanted the OOC stuff? That's a saga that he refuses to allow me to talk about today. I think he's glum.

What species are they?
Human. Always completely human.

Do they eat meat?
Yeah.  Plenty. He's a big, muscular guy.  He needs his red meat.

What kind of accent do they have?
I usually don't render it, but he's got a Scottish accent.  At least, in English he does.  I don't know about his home world language, but it's a similar accent difference.

~

About number two:
Cinaed is a teacher, primarily--he founded a non-government funded school for magic (and a bit of swordfighting, having been in the army).  He's also a socialist, rebel, and political idealist.  He's a mage (battle mage, yey exploding things and setting things on fire) and a swordsman.  He's a scholar who seeks to enlighten people.  He's also, incidentally, Tyroshaun's father.

What's their middle name?
Doesn't have one.

How old are they?
Fifties or sixties..

What's their favorite hobby?
Reading.

What's their sexuality?
Heterosexual.  He's got a wife and son.

Any special powers?
Battle magic.  Setting stuff on fire, mainly.

What religion are they?
His world doesn't have a religion.

Do they get ridiculed?
No.  Carped on for radical politics, yes. Ridiculed? No.

What species are they?
Human.

Who are their friends?
The other teachers at his school, old army friends, other political radicals.

Have they ever wanted to kill someone?
I've lost count of how many times.

~

About number three:
Neran is a second and later a first lieutenant in Kalenes' mixed mage-soldier company.  He serves the majority of his time under Tyroshaun Kaleaster and is his best friend.  He's a regular guy, went into the army to make enough money to buy some land or a business a little later in life, and enjoys hanging in taverns and laughing and talking.

What color is their hair?
Brown.

What is their ethnicity?
Technically, he's from Kalenes.  He's Perenian.

What is their favorite food?
Something that's not army fare?  A good rabbit stew, apparently.

Do they have a nice singing voice?
Nah.  He can sing without making people wince, but he can't really... sing.  Except when drunk, and that's not singing.  He keeps trying to get his captain drunk enough to sing, though.

Have they ever hurt someone?
He's in the army. In a war.  On the front lines. That enough?

Are they a virgin?
Nah.

Are they single?
Yes.

~

About number four:
Kaden is doubling as Kanin's real world version for an HP game, and a possible DoGA agent.  In Sonora, Kaden's an eleven year old Scottish boy who's going to an American wizard school with his cousin.  He's incredibly silent but likes people a lot.

Are they male or female?
Male.

What is their favorite color?
Blue.  A few shades darker than sky blue.

Who is their worst enemy?
He doesn't really have one.  Unless it's his family's cat.

What sort of clothes do they wear?
Usually school uniform, now.  Or just... regular .

Where are they from?
Outside Lochcarron, Scotland.

Are they in a relationship?
He's eleven. No.

What would they do if they were held at gunpoint?
Get very still, try to think of a way to run, and then run.  Or fight, if he thought he could manage it.

~

Number five:
Aderais is the son of the Lord Knight Commander of Elanthia.  He's incredibly hot tempered and resents the Riders on his father's behalf, for (in his view) taking the prestige of the Knights.  Actually, he's a lot more open minded than he'll admit to, and he's pushing for reforms to the Knights that his father really isn't ready for..

Are they magic in any way?
Nah.

What religion are they?
Hmm... Uhm. Aderais isn't too religious.  But probably he mainly worships the god and goddess of death and war. Like most Knights.

Do they have any kids?
No. Thank the Valar, 'cause it's ADERAIS..

Has anyone close to them ever died?
I don't think so.

If they were an animal, what would they be?
...I have no clue. Honestly

What sort of TV programs do they like?
Aderais would probably like 24 and Lost.  Action packed and all.

What is their fondest memory?
Probably when he was promoted to a full Knight, when he'd been told he'd passed his training. He's cute that way.

~

Number six:
Breniaren is a prince, healer, military strategist, and part-time bard.  He's got a deep appreciation of the fact that the social class system is flawed, and a certain lack of ability to outright lie that is singularly bad for a politician.

What number would represent them?
Probably 3.  It's sort of a complete, stable number, highly symbolic, etc--and he's the 3rd male in his family (Davinon the king and Laurenon his brother) and the third of the group of younger rulers (with Laurenon and Rania), and he's sort of a "third wheel" for a long time.

Where are they from?
From Eviarence-city, the capital of Kearon.

Do they consider themselves pretty?
*Giggles* He considers himself relatively attractive and debonair. Although, admittedly, pretty isn't high on his list of priorities.  Charming and at least mildly attractive, yes, because it's necessary for politics.  But pretty isn't fully necessary.

How often do they sleep?
He can usually find an excuse to sleep every night when he's a bard, and when he's running the war with the Empire he takes as much sleep as he can get, whenever he can.  Once king, though... I'm guessing he sleeps more regularly, but somewhat less.

Do they daydream?
Nah.

What is their sexuality?
Heterosexual, most definitely.  He's very content with his wife, though.

Do they have any hobbies?
He reads dusty old medical and military texts.  In a way, admittedly, this is sort of work (as he was supposed to be his brother's Lord Marshal and he's a healer by magic) but... he doesn't HAVE to, so he does for fun.

~

Number seven:
Robin's sorta my avatar in the PPC.  She's mostly me, with a few changes and some of the characteristics of mine that her partner has removed.  And she's more social than I am.

Do they like being outdoors?
She likes being outdoors a lot--which considering she now lives in dull, grey HQ, is rather hilarious.

What's their personality like?
Chipper, enthusiastic, excitable, deeply devoted to her canons, and actually too gentle for assassinating 'Sues. But she might just not be scarred enough yet.

Do they hate anyone?
Besides 'Sues and the Narrative Laws of Comedy? No.

Do they have a crush? Who?
...Besides canon character lust objects? Not really, no..

Are they intelligent?
She's very smart, IQly, especially with math and science.  Common sense? None at all.

Meant to post this yesterday, but then I thought LJ had eaten it.  So here it is.
