Safe in my arms...
weather: chipper
song: Into the West a la Me With Mandolin
...is my loverly mandolin! Which I haven't really been practicing. Mrrh.
But! I played through Into the West with the chords. Figuring 'em out. A to C is an easy change--makes sense, but yey.
*Happy!*
If I could only play the written accompaniment, it would sound so pretty...
EDIT: I have way too much fun with name etymology. ...and Gaelic names for characters which I seem to have in abundance in fantasyland. It's just so easy... and so purtiful... ...And while I totally chose some of them 'cause they were Gaelic, most I didn't. They just... worked out that way. *Irritated* Or had other such working-out-ness. ...At least Tyroshaun's name is less... idiotic now. *Grins* Bright land or land of light. Not bad as a meaning, eh? ...Not so much for a person, mebbe, but hey, Erin/Eirean means land/earth in Celtic, so... yes! (Although Eirian in welsh does mean bright. Hee. She's got the same name as her daddy. Innit that cute?)
EDIT THE SECOND: Oh lord. I just rambled on and on and on at poor Nightcandle from SotE. And asked specific, random, hard, and totally arcane questions about magic. My head is a special, twisted place. *Hides* I'm gonna just go... y'know... pretend I don't exist for a while.
